I saw Guida at Manchester animation festival, i thought it was a really good animation and i specifically liked that it was hand drawn and watercolours for the colouring. It had a hand crafted feeling that i think most animations are missing. I really liked the fact that it wasn't overly polished because often this takes away a lot of the emotion from the drawings. The story is very heartwarming and really suits the animation style. The squash and stretch in the animation is very effective and doesn't loses the characters mass. I really like the subtle colouring, it doesn't take away from the hand drawn style.
