Photoshop Session - 13/10/2015

Photoshop Session - 13/10/2015

This session we were animating in photoshop, getting to grips with everything we have been taught and making sure we can use photoshop to animate in the future. i animated some bouncing balls and a pendulum because there is no point overcomplicating things when learning the fundamentals.

Photoshop Session - 06/10/2015

Photoshop Session - 06/10/2015
In this photoshop session we learnt how to use the basic animation tools such as how to use the timeline features, tweening and how to make animatics. i thought this session was very helpful and i think i will be using photoshop in the future for putting together my hand drawn animations because it seems useful for this purpose. however it seems like there could be better software for this purpose but even so photoshop seems very useful for colouring hand drawn animations above anything else. In the session we were provided with a few layers in photoshop of a scene that we could animation using the skills we learnt in the session, the animation is below.

Photoshop session - 02/10/2015

Photoshop session - 02/10/2015

We learnt about different ways to touch up our images using tools such as the "levels" tool and the "hue/saturation" tool. These tools will be useful for me in the future to edit my scanned images and make my images looking more professional.

We also learnt about the spot healing brush tool, this was very useful for blending parts of different images and making it look more natural but it can also have some weird effects sometimes.

To put all of our skills into action at the end of the session we created a spaceship out of various different images, i found this challenging at first but then i found it easier by using the masking tools an the transform tools.
