I saw fresh cut grass at manchester animation festival and i really liked it. I liked the fact that it was a innocent looking animation which had quite a dark theme and story. The look and colours of the animation reflect the view and perspective of the protagonist as the story progresses. At the start of the animation the colours are bright and vibrant because the character is happy and innocent but when he finds his sister at a strip club the colours become darker and much less vibrant, this reflects the shady dark story advancement and also the way the protagonist is now viewing the world. Even the title of the animation reflects the innocent mind of the protagonist.
